CRITICAL WISDOM

A lotus flower grows in a mud swamp                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Herbie Hancock                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Wisdom over knowledge is uncovering and leading a creative life, because the art of living is a creative endeavor in the midst of tragedy. To begin with, wisdom making shrewd, common sense, sound insights of judgement in the magical adventure of various conversations. Being fully awake, aware, aligning ones self, with the rhythm of the universe  in eternal life. Again, doing battle with ones self, for oneself, as well as others, creating the future. Also, broadening the perspective of an inspired, inventive and meaningful life highlighting humanity through inner character transformation. Besides, optimism, trust and respect for all human beings through wisdom, because ones sense of self is bound up in others, like electricity or gravity providing transformation through clarity of peace and compassion, giving birth to enlightenment. In the bewilderment of life, gentleness with power.                                                                                                                                                                                                               “One once of truth benefits like a ripple on pond”                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Nikki Giovanni                                                                                                                                                                                                         Critical wisdom of authenticity in responding instead of reacting to personal pain and suffering in a world of pain and suffering, bringing compassion along with understanding to a full range of human experience. Furthermore, critical wisdom in the here and now, bringing light to the world reducing the emotional effects of internal and external wrong perceptions allowing compassion from ones’ heart, bringing happiness to the world. In like manner, the Zen of serene encounters with reality, resonating with the universe getting passed misplaced anger. Moreover, critical wisdom stimulated by compassion creating an expansive beautiful life giving assurance, hope and joy without ego, nurturing unconditional feelings of empowerment and vitality. Imagination embracing ourselves in the entire world and all that we will need to be known and understood of the suppressed and the suppressors, victims and the victimized. Listening with wisdom increasing relational        possibilities. In other words, critical wisdom is a necessary component for future cohesive 21st century growth getting beyond the limiting detrimental effects of the mythology of teleology.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Thinking fast and slow contributes to the evolutionary thought, therefore teleology in terms of design and purpose in the explanation of final cause phenomenon calls for a broader approach. 1473-1543 Nicolas Copernicus mathematically formulated the heliocentric model of the universe putting the Sun at the center of the universe rather than the earth, which had been the teleological view for 1,000 years prior. 1564-1642 Galileo Galilee through empirical observation and the scientific method confirmed Nicolas Copernicus’ mathematical model ‘On The Revolution Of Celestial Spheres’ in Galileo’s Dialogue Concerning the Two Chief World Systems’ contributing to a more complete view of the universe. In addition to recommending a reexamination of Roger Lowenstein’s WHEN GENIUS FAILED the author of FOOLS GOLD: The Inside Story of JPMorgan And How Wall St. Greed Corrupted It’s Bold Dream And Created A Financial Catastrophe Gillian Tett thinks that there is an evolutionary emerging nature of the 21st century banking industry.                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Does banking evolution from the Medici through colonialism to the world of 21st century global finance parallel the revelations of Copernicus? For instance, due to enforced regulation 1930-1980 there was no banking failures. Likewise, 1989 The Resolution Trust Corporation saw the end of The Savings & Loans industry. Similarly, INVENTING MONEY: The Story Of Long-Term Capital Management Nicholas Dunbar, ALL THE DEVILS ARE HERE: The Hidden History of The Financial Crisis  Bethany McLean and Joe Nocera and WHEN GENIUS FAILED: The Rise and Fall of Long-Term Capital Management Roger Lowenstein examines the  1994-1998 existence of hedge fund Long-term Capital Management and the lessons revealed. Moreover, the financial crisis of the early 21st century  (Bear Stern,  AIG,  ‘Fannie Mae’, ‘Freddie Mac’, Lehman Brothers), revealed the toxic-asset-price-bubble-tsunami, which affected the global economy revealing the Trillion ‘Shadow Banking Industry’ during The Great Recession. Now ‘Shadow Banking’ is considered central to the international banking system. Hence, ‘The Panama Papers’ is just the tip of the iceberg encouraging more accurate mapping of offshore Trillions and its’ effect on the entire banking system. Moving from (384-322BC) teleology to Nicolas Copernicus (1473-1543) to Galileo Galilee (1564-1642) to Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1727) t Albert Einstein (1879-1955) critical wisdom and the scientific method have helped mankind.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           From Newton’s three Laws of Motion:                                                                                                           1.  A body in motion tends to stay in motion                                                                                                  2.  Force = (Mass)  (Acceleration)                                                                                                                          3.  For every action, there is an equal and opposite re-action                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     To Einstein’s observation of light as both a beam and a particle,                                                          plus proof of gravitational waves on the fabric of the universe;                                                           critical wisdom is necessary to understand and navigate the new banking universe                                                        and the real economy.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         2017-2050  in just 33 years, global urban population will almost double. Today, 50% of 7Billion or 3.5Billion live in cities. By 2050 70% of 9Billion or6.3Billion will live in cities. Therefore, critical wisdom is necessary to properly navigate this rapidly changing global environment of sovereign currency manipulation, global warming  and mass           migrations, plus their effects on financial markets. Sustainable growth, future effectiveness and prosperity will depend on properly applying critical wisdom.
